“Don’t give up. It’s all we have left.” Prime Video has debuted the first official trialer for the zombie movie Apocalypse Z: New World, a Spanish fast zombie thriller that’s a sequel to the previous one Apocalypse Z: The Beginning of the End (2024). Adapted from the Spanish comic Apocalipsis Z 1. El principio del fin by Manel Loureiro, it’s about a man trying to find his family when the zombie apocalypse breaks out. Directed again by Carles Torrens, Apocalypse Z: New World is a follow-up horror departing from the Canary Islands, where everyone is making films these days. A supply mission to virus-ravaged Spain turns complex when Roberto, from the safe Canary Islands, joins with secret intentions. They confront infected masses while weighing survival against humanity. The zombie film stars Carlos Alcaide, Julia Martínez, José María Yazpik, Kevin Ramos, Mario Mayo, and Lucía Moreno. And it’s also premiering at the 2026 Sitges Film Festival this fall – then hitting streaming right after to make it out before the end of this spooky season month. Might be gory zombie fun.
