if you grew up in the 80s, you probably had a poster of Magnum P.I. on your wall. Either because you wanted to be with Tom Selleck, or you simply want to be him. The culmination of this actor’s reputation as a heartthrob came in 1998 when he was selected by People Magazine as one of the 50 most beautiful men on the planet.
Tom Selleck will probably be delighted to hear that his most prolific show Magnum P.I. is actually getting a reboot very soon. However, he might be a bit upset that he won’t be able to reprise the classic role. Instead, it will be Jay Hernandez who will play the role of Thomas Magnum.

So it turns out, Selleck may be stepping away from TV — for good this time! As The National EXAMINER reported, Selleck is in poor health thanks to his crippling arthritis diagnosis, which bothers him “some days more than others,” according to a source.
Unlike Frank Reagan, who’s now a grieving widow, Selleck is still happily married to his wife, Jillie Mack. This coming August, they’ll have been married longer than more than 80 percent of their peers in Hollywood. He is now 75 Years Old (January 29, 1945).
