“I’ve spent my whole life beneath the second skin… At my age, I’m not even sure I want to move anymore.” Take a voyage to another time and place in this spectacular 2 minute hyper-realistic 3D animated short film called Second Skin. This short creation is the work of concept artist Paul Chadeisson who is envisioning his own unique world in this futuristic story. Paul has worked on designing concept art and world building for many big movies including Dune: Part Two, Project Hail Mary, The Creator, Blade Runner 2049, and many others. The concept for Second Skin seems to involve a futuristic world that is being covered up by a “second skin” layer on top of the city beneath, with gigantic construction machines churning out forests & new buildings all in one. Featuring voiceover of various inhabitants of this world discussing their feelings about this “Second Skin” – some with enthusiasm, others talking about how the haven’t seen real sunlight in decades.
