Tom Hanks Returns to World War II With a New Series in 2 Days

Hollywood’s preeminent World War II aficionado, Tom Hanks, is returning imminently with his latest offering. Hanks’ fascination with WWII history began decades ago, and since then, he has taken every opportunity to share his passion with his fans. The Oscar-winner starred in Steven Spielberg‘s Saving Private Ryanin 1998, and embarked upon a decades-long creative collaboration that has produced some of the best WWII storytelling of all time. Spielberg and Hanks created the landmark HBO limited series Band of Brothers, and returned to serve as executive producers on two spiritual sequels, The Pacific and Masters of the Air. Hanks is currently working on two major WWII-era projects, the first of which will be released in a matter of days.
