The Mandalorian & Grogu is a little over a month away from hitting theaters, with the film’s release feeling like it could be a make-or-break moment for the franchise and Disney and LucasFilm. While the film and television production company has kept busy with a myriad of television projects released on the Disney+ streaming service, its theatrical film output has been surprisingly stagnant, at least on the Star Wars side of things. The divisive release of 2019’s Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker undoubtedly put a pause on any and all big screen outings for the galaxy far, far away.
