Star Wars’ First ‘The Mandalorian’ Spin-Off Gets a Colossal Update 5 Years Later

Star Wars fans are drowning in a surplus of content to start the year, which has been the case more often than not since the launch of Disney+ in 2019. The first Star Wars project of the year was Maul — Shadow Lord, and after debuting to a near-perfect 99% from critics on Rotten Tomatoes, the show was picked up for Season 2. Star Wars fans are also heading out to the theater for the first time since The Rise of Skywalker in 2019 to see a new movie on the big screen with The Mandalorian and Grogu. The film is a direct continuation of the first three seasons of The Mandalorian, which premiered in 2018 alongside the launch of Disney’s premiere streaming platform. Plenty of iconic Star Wars characters featured in the first three seasons of The Mandalorian, including Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill), Ahsoka (Rosario Dawson), and even Boba Fett (Temuera Morrison).
