In July 2025, Universal Pictures delivered the seventh chapter in its Jurassic Park franchise with the release of Jurassic World: Rebirth, the first film released since the end of Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard’s recent trilogy. Directed by Gareth Edwards, this sequel centered around Scarlett Johansson’s Zora Bennett, a cover operation expert who is sent on a mission to retrieve DNA from three massive dinosaurs on a remote tropical island so that a life-saving drug can be made. Johansson led an impressive cast of stars, including Mahershala Ali (Moonlight), Jonathan Bailey (Wicked), and Rupert Friend (Pride and Prejudice).
