Gypsy Rose Blanchard has spoken out after her partner, Ken Urker, passed away on his birthday on Thursday, October 1.

Gypsy Rose Blanchard Speaks Out After Her Partner, Ken Urker, Passes Away On His Birthday

On Friday, October 2, PEOPLE published an exclusive with Gypsy Rose Blanchard following Urker’s death. Furthermore, she told the outlet that she believes Urker overdosed. Specifically, she says, she’s unsure if it was “intentional or not.”

“He was not in a good state of mind lately,” she explained, noting that Urker reportedly passed away in his bed in his home in Louisiana. “I’m in disbelief. I can’t think. I’ve screamed until my throat burns.”

Additionally, the outlet reports that Blanchard shared an official statement about her partner’s passing.

“Ken was an amazing father and a man who was deeply loved. He will forever be my soulmate and my red string, a connection that time, distance, and even death can never erase,” she said.

Specifically, Blanchard explained that Urker was allegedly experiencing intense scrutiny and harassment online due to their relationship.

“Ken endured an unimaginable level of public scrutiny and relentless cyberbullying across social media platforms, including TikTok and Reddit. The cruelty directed toward him was something no human being should have to endure. I believe the tremendous weight of that scrutiny and harassment had a profound impact on him, and I hope his passing serves as a reminder that there is a real person behind every screen, every headline, and every comment,” she continued.

Ultimately, Blanchard explained that she wants their daughter, Aurora, to grow up knowing how much her father loved her.

“Above all, Ken loved our daughter, Aurora. She is a beautiful reflection of his enduring spirit, and through her, a part of him will always remain with us. I will make sure she grows up knowing how deeply her father loved her and who he was beyond what strangers on the internet chose to say about him,” she stated. “There are no words that can express the depth of this loss. I ask for privacy and compassion for our daughter, our families, and everyone grieving Ken during this incredibly painful time. He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.”

Ken Urker’s Sister Has Also Spoken Out

On Friday, October 2, US Weekly also published a report stating that Ken Urker’s sister, Autumn, went live on TikTok after the news of his death broke. Per the outlet, Autumn was “breaking down and sobbing uncontrollably.” Ultimately, she revealed that his last words to her were, “I love you.”

According to PEOPLE, Urker was discovered deceased in his home on Thursday, October 1. Outlets such as TMZ initially reported that he passed away on his 33rd birthday. However, PEOPLE now reports that Urker had turned 34.

Per the outlet, authorities arrived at the home at 6:15 p.m. Before then, Blanchard allegedly texted Urker to wish him a happy birthday, and he did not respond. TMZ reports that his brother, Dylan, later discovered Urker deceased in his home and presumably called the authorities.

Now, the investigation into Urker’s death remains ongoing.
