Another box office weekend has passed, and the new sci-fi masterpiece Project Hail Maryhas continued its impressive theatrical run. Unsurprisingly, the second weekend of The Super Mario Galaxy Movie was top of the domestic ranks, with a $68 million haul, but Project Hail Mary’s $24 million fourth weekend is a hugely impressive second place. Marking just a 24% drop from the week prior, this total takes Ryan Gosling‘s astronomic gem to a global haul of over $500 million, and past the $250 million mark in domestic revenue.
