New Promo Trailer for Sung Kang's 'Drifter' Movie About Drift Racing

Drifter Trailer

“It’s not about skill… it’s about trust.” IGN revealed a brand new official trailer for Drifter recently – which is directed by actor Sung Kang and also stars Kang in the lead role. Still no final release date yet, but it’s expected by the end of the year. He’s best known for playing Han in the Fast & Furious movies ever since 2006, a character he first portrayed in Better Luck Tomorrow. This is his own new movie about drift racing called Drifter, in which he plays a talented driver who finally gets a chance to prove himself. A lonely janitor discovers purpose and community when he enters the world of competitive drift racing. Sung Kang stars as Tree, with a cast including Tamara Braun, Gregory Cruz, Emelia Hartford, Shane Johnson, James Pumphrey, and Michael Nehring. We already posted the first teaser trailer a few months ago, keeping an eye out for more. Kang explains a major goal with the film was to create a love letter to the car community, saying he felt “traditionally, films have not respected the car community in the way I see [it].” Have a look. // Continue Reading ›
