Quarter is made by Kelsey Bascom & Arnon Manor, starring Kelsey Bascom as the woman at the center of this story. Quarter is a coming-of-age comedy-drama about Kelly, a young woman living with Type 1 Diabetes who, in the days leading up to her 25th birthday, navigates the highs & lows of her blood sugar and her personal life. Yes it’s a quarter-life-crisis film, which is a bit cringe, but there’s more to this story. Bascom wrote it from her own experiences as a young woman living with Type 1 Diabetes, with the intent of creating an intimate & very personal film, that also raises awareness for T1D, often misunderstood and certainly misrepresented in films.
