This is out in theaters soon and will be touring around the US with Q&As and more, to engage the audience in a conversation about the film. Her ties to the accused raise questions of bias and justice. Shot in real time, every day, the piece follows the trial of Theodore Sterling, a privileged young man accused of sexually assaulting a young Black woman. The case takes a shocking turn with the arrival of a mysterious “wildcard” witness who claims to know the truth—threatening to upend the entire trial.
