How Many Pokémon There Are In The National Dex As Of 2026

The original Pokémon games had a PokéDex with just 151 entries. Those 151 entries were made up of the original 150 Pokémon and Mew. There was technically a PokéDex number for MissingNo, the glitch Pokémon that spawned under certain circumstances in Generation 1 games, which was Kanto Number 000. However, this is not a real Pokémon and does not have a real PokéDex entry. Since the release of the original 150 Pokémon, the game has undergone many changes, and Nintendo has released multiple generations of Pokémon with all-new monsters to collect.
