Knight Rider: Declassified Doc Trailer

“We were wrecking cars left & right.” Remember how awesome the 80s were? So many iconic movies and TV shows and vehicles and spaceships first debuted in the 1980s. One of these famous sci-fi cars is K.I.T.T. from the TV series Knight Rider. Decades later a new documentary called Knight Rider: Declassified is debuting soon taking fans back into the world of K.I.T.T. and Michael Knight. The vehicle is a special high tech Pontiac Firebird Trans Am – an advanced, artificially intelligent, self-aware, nearly indestructible car. The series (which ran for 4 seasons from 1982 to 1986) follows the adventures of lone crime-fighter, Michael Knight, who battles criminals with the help of his virtually indestructible AI supercar KITT (short for Knight Industries Two Thousand). Starring David Hasselhoff, Edward Mulhare, Rebecca Holden, Patricia McPherson, Peter Parros. This doc is a 5-part, 5-hour premiere event featuring new, never-before-seen interviews with the cast, creators & crew who brought this iconic series to life. From the creation of K.I.T.T. to the untold realities behind the scenes and the legacy that followed. They even shot segments in 8K to amp it up. There’s also another doc called Behind the Wheel recently made for the series re-release, but this one looks like the better, all-out version. The definitive look back at creating K.I.T.T. and Knight Rider’s legacy. // Continue Reading ›
