Screen Daily has revealed a festival official trailer for a new documentary film from Denmark titled Petrolheads, made by doc filmmaker Emil Langballe. This is premiering at the prestigious CPH:DOX Film Festival in Copenhagen starting next month – which is why this promo trailer is out now. The film follows two very special friends on a road trip through Denmark in search of a used Honda Civic that might make life just a little bit more normal. “A warm film that goes straight to the heart.” The film is about two Danish guys named Martin and Casper. The director Emil is Martin’s older brother, riding along in the backseat capturing their journey to find this one special car & bring it back home. “He has created a true buddy movie: a funny, genuine, and touching film about a friendship that endures when everything else falls apart.” I’m a fan of any kind of unique docs – they’re more intimate, honest, and fascinating than most movies out every year.
