First Official Trailer for Warwick Thornton's 'Wolfram' Survival Thriller

Wolfram Trailer

“You gentlemen looking for adventure?” Paradise City has unveiled their early promo trailer for Wolfram, the latest new film from Australian indie filmmaker Warwick Thornton. This is set in the same “universe” as his previous film Sweet Country, another tale of racism and survival amidst the dusty Australian Outback of years ago. It first premiered at Berlinale 2026 last month and will play at more festivals coming up this year. Set in the 1930s, the film follows 3 children who escape their white masters and journey across central Australia seeking safety. The youngsters set off across the desert “sweet country” of central Australia, in search of safety and a way home. An outback Western but also a historical drama about survival, reckoning, resilience and love. Starring Deborah Mailman, Erroll Shand, Joe Bird, Thomas M Wright, and Ferdinand Hoang. The film picked up mostly positive reviews playing at Berlinale, saying that it “builds a strong emotional investment with its protagonists.” Still no release date set yet – have to wait a while for it. // Continue Reading ›
