Bridget Jane Fonda on January 27, 1964, into a family of actors, including her grandfather, Henry Fonda, her father, Peter, and her aunt Jane. His mother Susan Jane Brewer is an artist. Her first name comes from Bridget Hayward, daughter of actress Margaret Sullavan, her grandfather’s first wife, who committed suicide at the age of 50. Her parents divorced when she was 10 and her father remarried Portia Rebecca Crockett, ex-wife of author Thomas McGuane.

Peter and Portia are raising Bridget, her brother Justin and their older half-brother Thomas McGuane Jr (born 1962). She studies at Westlake School for girls in Los Angeles. During this period, Bridget and her brother have little contact with the Fonda family. Bridget recalls in an interview: “When I was a kid, the most important thing for me was the house. People came and went, things changed but the house did not change. I loved it. I wish I had the same for the rest of my life. I would like to have a place of my own.” These are my top 10 Bridget Fonda Movies.
