Brendan Fraser's Highly-Anticipated WWII Epic Is Much More Than a "Dad Movie"

It may seem like just about every corner of the sweeping global event that was World War II has been explored on the big screen, but the latest WWII drama starring Brendan Fraser chronicles one of the war’s least-recognized yet most influential decisions in truly captivating fashion. Anthony Maras’ Pressure depicts the circumstances surrounding the selection of the launch date for D-Day, the Allied invasion of Normandy and establishment of a foothold in mainland Europe, from which they were able to topple the Nazi Third Reich. Based on the true story, Pressure stars Andrew Scott as Group Captain James Stagg, the British meteorologist advising General Dwight D. Eisenhower, played with proper gravitas by Brendan Fraser.
