Argentina: The Secret in Their Eyes …Nice
In 1999 , Benjamin Esposito ( Ricardo Darin ), a retired bailiff, decides to write a novel about a murder occurred in 1974 , whose research was involved. Here is a true flashback : in June 1974, Benjamin Esposito, begins investigating the murder of a young woman, Liliana Colotto Morales ( Carla Quevedo ), brutally raped and murdered in her house in a neighborhood of the city of Buenos Aires . Her husband, now a widower, Ricardo Morales ( Pablo Rago ) is devastated by the news; Esposito
promises to find the murderer and bring him to justice. This is helped by his assistant alcoholic , Pablo Sandoval ( Guillermo Francella ), and newcomer Irene Menéndez-Hastings ( Soledad Villamil ), a young upper class is the new head of the department. Esposito’s opponent in court, Romano, two workers accused immigrants to dispose of the matter, which angers Esposito after seeing that both were tortured to plead guilty and faces Romano in a rage.
Soon, Esposito finds a clue to look at some old pictures of the murdered girl, you were given by Morales: in many of the photos just a man, identified as Isidoro Gómez ( Javier Godino ), who looked at the victim suspiciously . Returning to 1999 (where the story is told) and trying to make sense of the case, Esposito goes to visit Morales, who moved in 1975 to an isolated house on the outskirts of the Province of Buenos Aires . During the visit, the two discussed a number of events that occurred during and after the event, but Morales goes awry after Esposito asked him how did you deal with the death of his wife, and even more injustice with which he ended his cause. Because Esposito after learning that Gomez
