After the first teaser last week, Well Go USA has dropped another new official trailer for the Korean zombie horror movie Colony coming out this year. It’s announced for a 2026 Cannes Film Festival Midnight premiere in May then it will hit US theaters at the end of August later this summer. Directed by the same K-zombie mastermind behind the movies Seoul Station, Train to Busan, Peninsula, and many others recently. Yeon Sang-ho returns to his zombie roots for Colony, about a virus that infects people so they quarantine the entire facility. It follows survivors trapped inside a Korean high-rise during a zombie outbreak. At a biotech conference, a rapidly mutating virus is unleashed. As the outbreak spreads and the infected begin to transform, they seal off the building. Starring Gianna Jun, Koo Kyo-hwan, Ji Chang-wook, Shin Hyun-been, Kim Shin-rock, Go Soo. The real “colony” aspect of this is finally revealed – it’s some sort of “mutant zombie monster” creation hivemind linked by all this gooey white stuff.
