“I was born to be the king of this country.?” Whoa! This is a surprise must watch. Prime Video has revealed the first look teaser for an epic historical action thriller series called Bloodaxe, about two rival brothers during Norse times. This dropped during New York Comic-Con and really woke up everyone with seriously top notch action footage – massive scale & scope with nicely framed & shot epic Norse battles. From the creator of “Vikings“, of course, Bloodaxe opens in 927 AD, as ailing King Harald Fairhair of Norway must name a successor. Erik Bloodaxe is the ruthless heir sworn to the pagan ways, and his claim is challenged on every side. His greatest rival is his younger brother Haakon, raised in Christian Wessex under the ambitious King Athelstan and poised to return home backed by an English fleet. Brother falls at the hand of brother, the old ways crumble, and the season builds toward an apocalyptic siege that threatens to engulf Erik’s stronghold. Starring Xavier Molyneux as Erik Bloodaxe, Jessica Madsen as Gunnhild, Karlis Arnolds Avots as Karlis, Levi Miller as Haakon the Good, Rod Hallett, Alina Tomnikov, Sisse Marie, Rune Temte, and Jesper Christensen. This is one of those amazing first look reveals that I can only just say – click play below and get ready to be rocked! Launching to watch in early 2027 for anyone else now into this. // Continue Reading ›
