Here You Go:
1 – Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan
Audiences could always tell there was a lack of chemistry between Dornan and Johnson. This excerpt from a July 2014 interview with Today pretty much sums up their relationship fail:
Natalie Morales: What is it like shooting together. I mean, is there that instant chemistry?
Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson: [Shake heads no.]
Natalie Morales: No. You hate each other.
Jamie Dornan: [Nods head yes.]
Dakota Johnson: [Studies ceiling.]
Natalie Morales: He’s hard to work with?
Dakota Johnson: [Loud exhale.]
2 – Lindsay Lohan and America Ferrera
Back in 2008, Lindsay Lohan was a guest star on Ugly Betty but things didn’t work out too well. She saw her episodes cut from six to four after reports surfaced of on-set fights with star America Ferrera, tension, and bad attitudes. According to the New York Post via HuffPo, Lohan acted like a diva on set, wouldn’t listen to people, and tried to upstage Ferrera. She was also accused of not wearing underwear during a “pantsing” scene — which led to an embarrassing incident. But Lohan’s reps defended her and blamed the production for all the problems.
3 – Blake Lively and Leighton Meester
PerezHilton.com revealed Blake Lively never reached out to congratulate Leighton Meester about her engagement to Adam Brody. “After something of a thaw in their relationship during the final two seasons of Gossip Girl, Leighton and Blake don’t speak anymore,” the source stated. “I think it’s simply a matter of both of them being happy not to have to spend 18 hours a day with each other, but the friendship they struggled to build at the end of Gossip Girl has evaporated and they continue to stay as far away from each other as possible.”
4 – James Franco and Anne Hathaway
Franco and Hathaway both caught a lot of flack after hosting the Oscars together in 2011. The critics were not kind and the actors kind of blaming each other. Hathaway recently told Vanity Fair, “I turned that gig down, and James is the one that convinced me to do it.”
5 – Kanye West and Jay-Z
Jay-Z mentored Kanye and they worked together for years. Apparently, during the process of making an album and touring together, they developed some bad blood. Sources say they’ve gone through periods of not speaking. Jay didn’t appreciate Kanye dumping tons of money into flashy shows, according to an insider.
6 – Leonardo DiCaprio and Claire Danes
Apparently, Claire Danes weren’t very impressed with Leonardo DiCaprio’s prankster antics while they filmed the ’90s Romeo + Juliet reboot. Danes called her onscreen love “very immature” and sources say they weren’t close at all unless the cameras were rolling. However, Danes has also said she had a crush on Leo, but she admitted it years later.
7 – Sarah Jessica Parker and Kim Cattrall
SJP and Kim Cattrall played best friends for years on Sex and the City, but some say it was all an act. As the seasons went on, Cattrall was reportedly irked that Parker was paid double other cast members, while Parker resented the fact that Cattrall’s character Samantha was a fan favorite and took up more and more screen time.
8 – Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams
Noah and Allie certainly had a rocky relationship in The Notebook and life imitated art as well. The bickering and arguing between the two young co-stars is well-chronicled. Both have admitted fighting during filming.
9 – Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie
What do you get when you put two of the biggest stars on the planet together? Well, in Johnny and Angelina’s case, tons of attitude. Sources say Angie was upset because Johnny didn’t clean himself up while filming The Tourist, while insiders claim he thought she was totally full of herself.
10 – Shannen Doherty and Alyssa Milano
Another feud? Shannen Doherty clearly had a difficult time getting along with her co-stars. Although Doherty and Alyssa Milano played sisters and BFFs on Charmed, they had a ton of conflict on set and not even the power of three could save these their relationship.
On an episode of Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live, Milano discussed what really transpired after Doherty left the show. “I don’t know if she got fired, we never really found out what happened,” Milano said. “I can tell you that we were on the air with her for three years and there were definitely some rough days.
