Bill Marks is associate alcoholic U.S. federal air marshal; his female offspring died at age eight from cancer, his adult female unmarried him, and he listed within the marshall service despite a worry of heavier-than-air craft takeoffs when he was discharged from the personnel. Midway over the Atlantic Ocean, Marks receives text messages on his secure phone stating that somebody on the plane can die each twenty minutes unless $150 million is transferred into a particular checking account. Breaking protocol, Marks consults with Jack Hammond, the opposite marshall on the flight. Hammond is disclosed to be importation hard drug during a case and Marks finally ends up killing him in an exceedingly bathroom following an altercation; this happens precisely at the twenty minute mark, leading to the primary death. As he begins to initiate these actions, a number of the passengers arrange to disable Marks, convinced by the media that he's a terrorist. Marks finally explains true to them and that they conform to work with him.
