James Hayes (Patrick Brammall) is a small town policeman in Yoorana, Victoria. He is called to the local cemetery in the middle of the night after seven people have inexplicably risen from the dead in perfect health. With no memory of their identities, they are determined to discover who they are and what has happened to them. James and one of them recognise each other, and along with local doctor Elishia McKellar (Genevieve O'Reilly), James struggles to keep the case hidden from his colleagues, his family, and the world. The seven people are all linked in some way, and the search begins for someone who knows the truth about how and why they have returned.
However, as the mysteries of Yoorana get more complicated and surprising in Season 2 on Netflix, fans are likely wondering if there will be a Season 3 of Glitch, or if the second season will be the final installment of this Australian zombie tale.
While the fate of Season 3 hasn't yet been confirmed by Netflix, it seems likely that fans of the show will get to see any remaining mysteries continue on for at least another season. Although the show hasn't made a huge splash with American audiences, it has proven to be a success in its home country of Australia. In 2015, Glitch won the award for Best Television Drama Series at the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts awards.
